Another Miracle

It must be the air downunder cos God is blessing us with another little angel. I'm already 24weeks and I still can't believe this is happening. After all the pain and stress we went through in Singapore just to have another little one, it's all worth it now.

It's going to be another little princess. We haven't thought of a name yet. Just haven't got any inspiration yet. We weren't prepared for this surprise at all, I mean, Liz is just 14 months old! I haven't had any time to really sit down, take a breather and enjoy my pregnancy.

I can't wait to meet her.

Don't Care If You Know Already....I'm Still Telling You Again....IT'S A GIRL!

I just cannot describe that feeling when the Ultrasound Tech told me we are having a baby girl. After having such a cute bubbly son, I just know having a girl will just be as good!

Dre and I were there at the Women's Imaging Services bright and early. There was no one in the waiting area so that was a good sign. We were called in within the next 10mins. This trip was really important because the Tech was supposed to tell us if Jellybean was healthy and normal. But honestly, and I bet Dre would agree with me, we weren't interested at what the Tech was saying at all. Every time the Tech scanned the legs and bum area, I kept looking out to see if I could tell if Jellybean was a boy or a girl. But the Tech was such a pro, she just kept on doing what she was supposed to do and kept checking for all vital areas of Jellybean to see if all was good.

So finally, after a good 15-20mins of waiting, the Tech gave us the drumroll and told us what we wanted to hear. "Congratulations! You....young lady are going to have a baby girl!" I threw up my arms and screamed for joy. At that moment, nothing in the world could take away that happiness from me. NOTHING!

The Tech did say that all scans are 96% accurate and though Dre is still hoping for that 4%, I'm pretty sure that I'm going to have a daughter. And besides, I've already chosen the name when I was like 9weeks preggy. Never even bothered to think of boys' names. So 96% is more than acceptable to me!

Oh and if you're wondering what the name is...tee hee...you'd have to wait. We have to get approval from higher authorities first...(meaning the folks lar). So till then...stay tuned.

MIA

Wow! My last blog's in March. If anyone is wondering.....I've been out of action. Fighting the morning sickness is not easy...:) On top of that, visitors came and went. So the entertaining was also non-stop. And for someone who needed to sleep every 3hrs, it wasn't easy.

Well if you haven't guessed by now, yes...I'm having #2!!! Finally! The big J has finally decided that it's time for us to have another junior...or as some people have decided on a name....Mupplet. LOL! So cute! For now, we're calling him/her "Jelly Bean".

If all goes well, Jelly Bean will out at the end of November. Can't wait! Been looking forward to this day for soooo long. Andre was actually hoping to have 2 Jelly Beans again but I guess big J feels one at a time is better for all. I'm not complaining. As long as morning sickness doesn't go beyond the first trimester and Jelly Bean comes out normal and healthy, I'm grateful...:)

So Nice to Have Sarah Back...Coz......

First and foremost, Zac has found a new target!!! hehehehehe.....
Kidding lar!!! We're not that evil but seriously, I guess coz he's not seen her for almost 3 months, he can't wait to come back from school everyday to play Snakes and Ladders with her. So sweet. Ha...there were even days when he didn't even want to go to school coz he just wanted to play with his Aunty.

The Maze

The Maze is one of Perth's tourist attraction. But and I stress BUT.....it is definately not an attraction you would make the effort to go to if you're here on holiday. Unless of course you happen to have some time to spare after you've visited Swan Valley (20mins away). This place is mainly for the locals who have absolutely nothing to do on the weekends and need to entertain their children. So like us, who can't find much to do on the weekends, have been there twice already.It's main attraction is The Maze. It's not very big but enough to get us lost and find our way out in like 15-20mins. But if at any time you decide to give up, you can just crawl your way out. You see, they didn't build the walls from the ground up. They left a gap big enough for a fat aussie bloke to climb out.

What we like to play is the Minigolf and the Discgolf. And though this place is more for Zac to enjoy himself, the real fun is watching Dre or myself kick each other's butt at the games.

Happy Birthday To Me

(sigh)...Yup...I'm 34 today. Another year and people will be saying, "oh, Ophe is now in her MID 30s"....arrrggghhhhh! Never thought I'd feel so crappy about growing older. Never mind! I'll just have to hang out more with G & Lor and I'll always feel better....tee hee!

Woke up bright and early....no different from any other Sunday. Quickly brushing my teeth then trying to wake Zac up, brush his teeth, not showering at all just so that we can make it on time for OLA's 9.30am mass.

Had a couple of sms-es birthday wishes. And more calls when we got back from mass. Skyped the Rodrigues family while they were having a Champagne brunch in my honour. And then I just lazed around and watched Desperate Housewives while my sweet husband prepared a scrumptous dinner for us in the evening.

On the menu, chilli crab, steamed fish, bean sprouts with salt fish, scallops and sambal water spinach (that's english for 'kangkong' btw). And after that, it was off to Baskins Robbins for ice cream. It was a wonderful evening!

But of course, when my husband was done preparing dinner, it was like a typhoon had just swept thru my kitchen.

Tho......like every year for the past 6yrs...I'm still wondering if my folks have totally forgotten about my birthday or will it be that only my offspring will get the calls or the presents from them. Must be some wierd chinese custom....oh well.

I'd like to introduce the latest edition to the Tan Family, my niece Meagan Tan. Ha! only 2 days old and already a poser! tee hee..

Oh and if you're wondering....the spelling IS correct. Apparently, her mother found out the actual correct spelling of her name. I guess through the years, people slacked and re-spelt it as "Megan".
